I turned 51 years old this year and Camp Able is the first time that I have ever attended a summer camp!  There were other new campers and new counselors as well.  The new counselors and I anxiously awaited our daunting task ahead.  We were quickly taught by example from everyone.   I was awed by the behavior of the counselors - their camaraderie, maturity, and friendship, as well as the respect they showed to the campers, staff, and each other.  And talk about fun! - the ropes course challenge, arts & crafts, fishing, canoeing, swimming, scuba diving, a talent show, and even a dance!  WOW!!!   I look back on my life and there are things that I would do differently.  These young people are going to look back and be so glad they are a part of Camp Able.
